They see the table first.
Then the jewelry.
A customer has formed an opinion in the second before they look down. Props bought one at a time spend that second badly — four different browns, three heights that do not relate, a counter that looks assembled by accident. These twelve are cut and dyed together. One Dark Mocha, 0.51 inches at the flattest to 7.87 at the tallest, 6.30 lb for the lot.

Twelve Pieces
| A |
Oval Ring Tray, Small The smallest piece in the set. One ribbed bar in an oval well, sized for a single pair or a three-ring group. Light enough to move around a shot without resetting anything else. 3.15″ × 1.54″ × 0.98″ · 0.07 lb |
| B |
Ring Tray, Small The rectangular answer to A. Square corners sit flush against another tray, so two or three of these line up with no gap between them. 3.43″ × 1.77″ × 0.98″ · 0.11 lb |
| C |
Oval Ring Tray, Long A long ellipse holding one continuous bar. Six or seven rings run the length of it in a single line, which is the arrangement that photographs best from directly above. 6.18″ × 1.69″ × 0.98″ · 0.14 lb |
| D |
Ring Tray, Two Bars Two parallel bars in a near-square well. Front row and back row, which is the smallest unit that gives a customer something to compare. 3.43″ × 2.95″ × 0.98″ · 0.18 lb |
| E |
Ring Tray, Long The rectangular counterpart to C, and the piece that runs along the front edge of a case. Straight sides mean it can butt against the glass without a wedge of dead space behind it. 6.3″ × 1.77″ × 0.98″ · 0.19 lb |
| F |
Necklace Board An arched board with a row of brass hooks along the top. Chains of different lengths hang side by side without stacking, and the arch gives the back of a case a shape instead of a straight edge. 5.31″ × 10.24″ · 0.33 lb |
| G |
Ring Tray, Four Bars The workhorse. Four bars across, which holds most of a collection in one tray and lifts straight out of the case at closing time. 6.3″ × 4.33″ × 0.98″ · 0.37 lb |
| H |
Round Dish A shallow round well with a raised rim. A bracelet coils inside it and stays coiled; a pair of earrings sits in the middle without sliding to one side. 4.72″ diameter × 0.79″ · 0.40 lb |
| I |
Round Ripple Dish Concentric steps cut into a low disc. Bangles of different diameters each find their own ring and sit level rather than leaning against one another. 4.72″ diameter × 0.59″ · 0.54 lb |
| J |
Pendant Wedge, Single A wedge with one raised disc set into the face. The angle throws a necklace forward instead of letting it lie against the body, and the disc gives the pendant somewhere to land. 4.13″ × 4.13″ × 7.87″ · 0.68 lb |
| K |
Pendant Wedge, Triple The same wedge at double the width, carrying three discs across the face. Three necklaces hang at the same height and read as a set, which is what a window needs behind everything else. 8.27″ × 4.13″ × 7.87″ · 1.26 lb |
| L |
Base Board A 9.45-inch square laid under the rest. Half an inch thick, so it separates the arrangement from the shelf without adding a visible step. The heaviest piece in the set, and the one that keeps the others from sliding. 9.45″ × 9.45″ × 0.51″ · 2.04 lb |
The Window
The set spans 0.51 to 7.87 inches, which is enough range to build a back row, a middle and a front without buying anything else. Put the pendant wedges at the back, the necklace board between them, trays along the glass. A passer-by reads the whole window in one glance instead of scanning it.
The Camera
Dark Mocha under gold is the safest pairing there is — the background drops away and the metal keeps every highlight. The small trays weigh ounces, so a scene can be rebuilt between shots without lifting anything heavy or knocking the lighting out of place.
The Trunk Show
Six and a third pounds for the whole set, and the trays nest against each other flat. Setting up a market table becomes twelve placements with nothing to assemble, and it looks the same on the third weekend as it did on the first.

One dye lot
Suede is dyed in batches. The twelve pieces of a set are cut from the same run, which is why they match. Pieces ordered separately, months apart, may not.
Handmade
Every piece is upholstered by hand, so slight variation in the seam line is normal.
Not included
Jewelry shown in the photographs is for scale and styling only.
Questions+
Can I buy one piece on its own?
Yes. Every piece is sold individually. The complete set costs less than the twelve pieces bought separately, but there is no minimum and nothing has to be ordered together.
Which pieces should I start with?
For a first case, the four-bar tray, one pendant wedge and the necklace board cover rings, necklaces and height between them. Add the base board when the arrangement stops moving.
Will Dark Mocha wash out gold or silver?
The opposite. A dark matte ground absorbs light rather than returning it, so the metal holds its highlights and the background stays out of the way. It is the least forgiving color for dust, which is the trade.
Will the suede scratch plated pieces?
No. Suede is softer than plated metal, and the nap is short enough that it does not catch in a prong setting or work its way between chain links.
Do you supply boutiques in quantity?
Yes. Write to us with the pieces and quantities you need and we will come back with lead time and trade terms.
Is this set made in other colors?
Dark Mocha is the color listed here. We hold fourteen suede colors and the same twelve pieces can be made in any of them. Write to us with the shade you have in mind and we will come back with what is possible and how long it takes.
