Two Heights
Short
10 × 20 cm · 3.94″ × 7.87″ · W × H · 96 g / 0.21 lb
For chains up to about 45 cm. The pendant lands in the lower third of the board with suede above and below it, which is where the eye expects it. Front row of a case, or beside a ring tray in a flat lay.
Tall
10 × 30 cm · 3.94″ × 11.81″ · W × H · 150 g / 0.33 lb
For long chains, lariats and anything that would touch the table on the short board. Nearly a foot high, so it stands at the back of a case and still reads over everything in front of it. One short and one tall side by side give a display two heights from the same shape.
The Pendant
On a bust a pendant sits against a curve and turns. On this board it hangs from a single point, faces forward, and stays there, because the chain is held on the disc and the pendant has nothing to swing against. That is the difference between a photograph where the stone reads and one where it catches the wrong light.
The Photograph
Ten centimeters wide is narrow enough that the board fills a portrait frame with the necklace and nothing else. The suede is matte, so the background holds one even tone under whatever light you use, and seventeen colors mean the background can be chosen against the stone: green behind gold, blush behind pearls, black behind anything that needs to look expensive.
The Counter
The kick stand hinges out from the back and the board leans on it at a slight angle, so the pendant faces a customer standing at the counter rather than the ceiling. It folds flat for the box. Boards in one color line up in a row; boards in five colors make a rainbow that people photograph.
The Pair
One short and one tall in the same color. Stand the tall behind the short and the two pendants sit at different heights without one hiding the other, which is the smallest arrangement that looks composed rather than placed.

Pale boards keep a silver or white-gold chain visible under bright light. Dark boards make yellow gold and gemstones read brighter. Choose the board against the pendant, not the room.
