You want a chain to hang the way it hangs on a neck, so the pendant sits where the eye lands. A molded bust does that, but it brings a face, a neck, a shape of its own, and six of them on a counter turn into a crowd. Flat boards disappear; ornate stands argue with the jewelry.
This is the quiet version: a shouldered board, the outline of a bust and nothing more, cut from walnut veneer and wrapped in vegan suede, on a single solid brass peg. The chain drops over the shoulders and falls straight. Two sizes, one shape, twenty-two colors: a row of them reads as one idea, and the only thing that changes is the necklace.

What changes on the counter
A pendant hangs in open air with suede behind it, so a stone gets a shadow and a chain gets its length. Large at the back for a long chain, Small in front for a choker, and the pair gives a shelf two heights without a second design. The matte nap takes no glare, so the same setup shoots clean.
